  1. On my car this only gets updated when I purchase new maps. The POI are part of the map software.
  2. In my two 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrids the version 4.4 was an upgrade from version 3.1. I did not have any problems with version 4.4 other than the Bluetooth music resume feature.
  3. I also tried it today and the website is working correctly. (But my two 2010 Mercury Milan's still do not have the 4.6 upgrade available).
  4. I regularly go to the Ford Sync website to check if there is an update from sync 4.4 to 4.6 for my two 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid vehicles. Today to my surprise when I checked it came back that my vehicles do not have Sync installed! I called the ford help line and they stated they recently update their website and the database has some problems they are trying to correct. I did verify on the phone call that the 4.6 update is not yet available for my vehicles. https://owner.ford.com/tools/account/sync-my-ride.html#/home/
  5. Although roads change. I find that updating my maps every four or five years is sufficient. Ultimately I predict that cars will be able to mirror what is displayed on your smartphone and you will be able to display Google maps or Here maps.
  6. I have the 2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid with Sync. I have no bluetooth dropouts with the S5 nor does my wife have any dropouts with the S3 (Kitkat 4.4.2).
