I believe we will not see 3.2 for older units. That would mean new partioning by some app. To risky for Ford. That would end in a lot of bricked ones. Hopefully the European jailbreak guys will give us a possibility of upgrading/updating by a userfriendly tool. They are already able to install 3.2 on old units, but you have to send the unit to one of them. But in fact: great guys!

In Europe new head units have been shipped since September (built in September). As far as Ive read new units in the US come with 2019ers too.

Forget about 3.2 and 3.3. It is only for brand new head units and not fitting for old ones. Partitions have changed on new ones.

11.2.2 and 11.3 Beta 1 are fine, but 11.2.5 kills AppLink and USB music.

I saw a picture of a Sync 3 with Build 17307 on it yesterday in a Polish forum. Has anyone this version to download?

After a reset of my media index in Sync3 my USB flash drive is working fine again with voice commands. Thanks to everyone for hints.

USB is driving me crazy now. Tried another Lexar USB with only a few albums; voice commands working fine again. Taking my first Lexar: no voice commands available/working. But worked before updating to 3.0.

It has been exFAT from the beginning. Formatted FAT32 with Lexar repair tool and will see later today.

Reformatting and reinserting didn't solve the problem. And as mentioned above it has been the same USB flash drive for 1 year now. It has always worked fine until the latest update to build 17276. No changes have been done to the USB flash drive.

I figured out that the USB drive seems to cause this problem. After plugging in my iPhone I can play music from it via voice commands. So voice recognition for music commands is fine. But the strange thing is that my USB drive worked fine with voice commands before the last update. Ive changed nothing else. Even reformatting my USB drive didnt help. Any idea?

I was used to say Play Witness (by Katy Perry) for example. Then it gave me the choice album or title and then played the right album or song. But now it wants me to choose a nav destination or it plays any music from USB. Only once Id removed the USB drive and reinserted it after malfunction and then it worked right. But this has never helped again since this time. I suppose the problem occured with build 17276 and updated voice pack EU. Is it the voice pack or build 17276 apps?

Does anyone know which package in the update files is used for speech recognition? Especially voice commands for searching music? Voice commands are working fine for me with 3.0 build 17276 except things like Play album xxx. It doesnt recognize music names any more.

Right, this leak is pretty good and Ive installed it. But my maps are still from Q4/2014. Thats ridiculous. So if someone from Ford is reading here: Keep your promise of map updates twice a year and release it!

Has anyone information about Sync 3 updates (software and maps)? In Germany it was announced for October 30 by customer support. But nothing has happened so far. Even customer support does not know why there was no release yesterday. Has there been an announcement in other countries with a date?
