Another issue I am having is my iPod classic not picking up songs where they leave off. When I start the car again it always starts whatever song I am on over again from the beginning. Not the biggest deal, but it is more annoying when listening to a really long song. I could imagine it being a real pain if I listened to audiobooks on there.

I am having problems with the Sync 3 system in my 2016 Ford Escape. Whenever I add new music to my iPod classic and plug it into the USB in my Escape, the new songs/album will not be indexed. The only way I can get them to index is by performing a master reset, which after many times has gotten to be pretty annoying because then I have to re-pair my phone and change certain settings, etc. I was wondering if there was something I else I should be doing. The songs are definitely on my iPod - in fact, I can select the song manually before plugging the device in and then plug it into the USB port and it will play the song. It is just when I browse on the touch screen or try to find a newly added song/album with voice commands that they will not show up without first performing the master reset. Should I be looking into the fuses or something? Again, this has gotten to be extremely annoying in a car that I am otherwise extremely happy with. Thanks.
