  1. if you disconnect your car battery for 5 mins, may help
  2. firstly, nice fusion. no, the software level is not erased with a master reset. also, after doing the master reset in the radio menu, a 5 minute battery disconnect can also be helpful. hope it helps
  3. if there is a headphone jack on the mp3 player, you can get a 3.5mm male to male audio cable, you should be able to hook it up to sync and select line in:
  4. wondering if theres a max usb storage size that SYNC(mine is a 2010 fusion with sync 1 V4.4) i have a 126GB usb drive, will it work loaded with music? thanks
  5. unless this is very new, i work as a ford tech in ontario, canada. i hooked my 2010 fusion to the ford server with our scan tool last week and only 4.4 was available. also just throwing in an APIM(acessory protocol interface module)(sync module) from another vehicle in my experience has not worked out well...programming issues. ill check tomorrow and see if 4.6 is available for me(in canada anyways) Edit: checked today with ford scan tool, and in canada anyways, 4.6 is not available to install
  6. you didnt hear it from me, but: Some 2011 thru 2016 Ford or Lincoln vehicles equipped with MyFord/MyLincoln touch and version 3.8 software or SYNC 3 may exhibit Siri Eyes Free not working over Bluetooth properly with iPhones using iOS 9.2 and 9.2.1 software. Ford is currently working with Apple on a resolution. As a workaround, plugging the iPhone into a USB port allows Siri Eyes Free to operate properly. Recommend that the customer have their iPhone plugged into a USB port to operate Siri. Plugging the iPhone in a USB port may cause Autoplay to start playing USB media. Autoplay can be disabled or enabled using the process in the Owner’s Manual or SYNC Supplemental Guide.
  7. hello, using my samsung s5 with usb to connect for music. i would like to use voice commands, ie. play artist etc. what folder does my music need to be in on my samsung. it seems its reading it from my phones storage . after it builds a list, all i can play are ringtones. can i change it so it sees my cell phones sd card as media source and build the library there? thanks my sync is at SYNC v4.4
