  1. Thanks for the reply. My version of sync doesn't have those specific commands. I had to, 1. Start truck 2. Plug in usb 3. Press media button 4. Hit the source button. Line in, Bluetooth, and then usb 5. On the right hand side bottom, press advanced 6. Scroll to install 7. Begin install Here is where my problems started. All I ever received was "file not found". The dealer kept getting the same message. I finally renewed my subscription to Sync services. Not sure if that had anything to do with it, but it worked after that. I ran the version checker then uploaded back to ford, then reformatted and erased the thumb drive. Re downloaded the update. Followed the directions above, and it worked. Now to see if I get any of the glitches that other users are reporting. Fingers crossed that I don't. Have a great day.
  2. Vehicle Ford F-150 FX4 Sync with voice activated nav. Sync update v4.4.1 will not install. "File not Found" Dealer got same message. Tried every owner suggestion I could find. No Joy. Vin# 1ftfw1et4cfb15090. Spent 3 days and several hours so far. Any advice, will be taken to heart. Oh, tried factory reset and Master reset, no love there either.
  3. Actually this happened too me once in my 2012 F-150 it is the nozzle on the pump. Most have what looks like a little shoulder at the tip of the nozzle. If it doesn't have that little step down "shoulder", then it won't work with the capless tank. Hope this helps. I just moved forward one pump and everything fit like it should.
  4. Sheldon, Go to owner.ford.com. Register for an account. Then it will be at the bottom of Sync how to section I think. Hope that helps.
  5. Gen1 v4.4 update I'm also having this problem, but I think I have a different version of Sync. I have a 2012 F-150 FX4, with voice activated navigation. The ford web site says I have Gen1 v3.0.?, something. I've tried most of the owner posted suggestions, but one work. I've even taken it to a dealer and they get the same as me, "file not found". Like most people, I've used multiple computers and Usb sticks. Fords directions won't work. Anybody figured it out for the trucks yet?
