I've posted this on one of the Focus ST forums and no one had actually experienced this, found this forum and figured there may be some info here....anyway here goes. I have a 2013 Focus ST, when I start my car I have audio from all systems, sync commands, satellite radio, legacy am and fm radio. I can drive for a "period" of time cut the car off and if I restart it soon afterwards I have no audio from any of the systems. However, the sync system can hear me. I can que up sync and tell it to do whatever and it works, but there is no response. I can still receive phonecalls and only have one way speech, the caller can hear me, but I can't hear the caller. A fix for this most of the time is to cut the car off, open the door so all of the systems shut down and restart it. About 90% of the time everything is back to normal. However, sometimes you have to repeat this process many times. Several times I've had to just give up and live with no audio. I took the car back to the dealer and they told me that this was a known problem, figured if it was someone on the Focus forum would have experienced it too. They gave me a workaround, toggling the system between AM and FM presets, but for me this does nothing. They were very vague about a fix and said a "ticket" had been created for this issue but not by them, it existed already. They couldn't give me any information as to when it may be fixed or really a good way of finding out other than to contact them. I'd like to know if anyone has experienced this particular problem and if they have any info on it. Supposedly they ran diagnostics on it and my software is at the latest release.
