Your welcome. Answer is no to both. Tracks show on my phone as it streams but on display it just shows the phone connected. In my case "Windows Phone". Still no text message capability. If you go to the SYNC site they have a list of phones by vendor and model and all the features you can use with SYNC.

Had SYNC Gen 1 V 3.1.4 installed by dealer today on my 2010 Sport Trac. Update covers Bluetooth auto-connection improvement, media player reliability, voice recognition improvements to recognize names entered in all CAPS, voice recognition that will decrease the chance of calling the wrong person and finally it added a customer assistance phone number to help prompts. FYI: This update did not show up when I logged into SYNC My Ride! You should call SYNC support with your VIN to see if update is available for your vehicle, if so dealer needs to install. Info says only 20 minute update but it took 3 hours of waiting at dealer!!!

I Have a 2010 Sport Trac with Gen 1 V 3.1. Sync my ride shows this as the original and only update but I emailed sync with my VIN and they show an available update of V 3.1.4. They said if it isn't showing on sync my ride it is a dealer install. Don't know what issues the update addresses. Will check with dealer this week.

Have 2010 Sport Trac with Sync and nav. Current and only sync version is Gen 1 V 3.1 showing on sync my ride. I called tech. And they show new update of V 3.1.4? Why does this not show on web site. Is it dealer install only?

Jon, you should take it to your dealer to do the 3.5.1 update. Do you have the navigation system as well? If so it takes the dealer about 3 to 4 hours do do the update as it is specific to the Hybrid. Different than just a focus etc. 3.5.1 update. Mine was covered under warranty since it was not installed when I purchased the car in January. Would not cot you as well.

Version 3.5.1 is now out for C-Max as well as version 4 for the navigation. Clears up all those issues and adds another button at the center bottom of the screen which shows the Hybrid operation of your vehicle in real time. Just had mine upgraded and works great.

Spoke with Ford Motor Company Headquarters today regarding issues with SYNC & Nav. My clock would chang hours every now and then & the presets on the radio would disappear. Was told that they were aware of athis issue and others and that new update was being released the first week in May. I just checked on syncmyride.com and my version is 3.1.3. Purchased C-Max Hybrid on 12-31-12.

When I edit a saved destination to reflect the destination name, ie: Lake House the system will not let me place a space between the two names. Saves as LakeHouse! Any solutions?

It just gives you a reference point as to where you are, nothing else and you can't remove it.

Talked to Ford Corporate Offices yesterday regarding issues I was having on my 2013 C - Max. The clock would loose or gain an hour on its own and the radio presets would show blank. She said an update is scheduled for the first week of may but will probably be a dealer install update.
