  1. I bought a replacement radio from Ford, but I have not tried to install it. The dealer I bought it from, told me I might have to bring it to the dealership to be programmed to the car.
  2. Hi guys, can anyone tell me if a factory replacement radio from Ford would need to be programmed? My wife has a 2009 Edge with an am/fm radio 6 cd changer no navagation that went out. I bought a replacement radio from Ford, but I am not sure if it will need to be programmed. Thank you for your help. Regards, Paul
  3. Hi guys, I am having a problem with the SYNC in my 2009 Ford Edge. I got in the car this morning, and the SYNC did not work. No phone, radio would not play, the screen displayed SYNC, the volume would show, but no sound. My preset stations were gone. After about 6 hours, I returned to leave, and the SYNC worked fine. The Car has 45,000 miles on it, and I have never had a problem with my SYNC. I know I had issues with another vehicle that had radio and dash problems, that ended up being a bad cell in the battery, I bought a new battery, and all issues were resolved. Do you think that could be the problem here? The Car is out of warranty, so before I go to the dealer, I would like to have an idea of what I am in for. Thank you for any help you can give me. Regards, Paul
