Nitti48, the ecoboost was only offered on the FWD Edge. We are getting 22 to 24 mpg around town.

I heard the same here in Illinois. I was at the dealership where I bought a 2012 Edge for a customer appreciation dinner and the subject came up. The said we would receive a thumbdrive in the mail around March and they suggested bring it out to them and letting them install it so if there are any problems with the install, they can correct it right away. Fingers crossed!

The dealer we bought our 2012 Edge from has orientation classes twice a month and as I I understand it, there are two levels of navigation. One is voice directions only and the other has the voice and the visual map. I would follow lewisra13's suggestion. Good luck.

We have the four cylinder Ecoboost and the sticker says 21/30. The Edge is definitely a nice vehicle but the mileage was one of the reasons we bought the Ecoboost. The Fusion is a nice car, I was impressed with it for me, but my wife drives her 91 y/o mother around quite a bit and needed the convenience of power passenger seat in heated leather in a higher stance car.... Ergo, the Edge with the Ecoboost. Enjoy....

Vonoetn, we were using the gps on a road trip yesterday and I turned the volume up while gps was giving directions..... worked like a charm!!! We put a 120 miles of highway on it, except for the five little towns where along the road where you have to slow down twenty miles an hour for the two blocks to the other side of the city limits. I checked the mileage and it was 28 mpg. It just rolled a thousand miles on it and the wife is still not used to the throttle or brakes yet so I am sure that does not help the mileage. I did put K&N air filter in it, so I am hoping for better. If you don't mind me asking, do you know what kind of mileage you get and how many miles did you have on the car when the mileage peaked? Thanks......

Thank you, Vonorentn. I think when I was trying it, the unit was not giving directions. We will have to use it in a couple days and I will turn up the volume when "she who must be obeyed" is giving me directions.... the gps girl, not my wife.

Does anybody know how to do this? It is currently set so low I can barely make out what is being said. Turning up the volume on the radio doesn't help. Thanks in advance.

Greetings from Illinois. We picked up a new 2012 Edge Limited ten days ago and still learning all the bells the whistles. We think we have figured out the bluetooth.... first turn on the the phone, then turn on the car and radio. This syncing has to be done while the car is in park? It seems it doesn't sync up if we turn the phone on when the car is in drive. The dealership has a new owner class this weekend so maybe we will get some of those bells and whistles figured out. It is a sweet ride and with the eco boost it has enough thump to get out in traffic....
