  1. If the phone supports Bluetooth streaming audio then yes, you probably could.
  2. Oh yeah, you have a Nav. I keep forgetting. Sounds like something was going on with your Nav unit since jukebox and CD are functions of the Nav radio, not Sync.
  3. It is really hard to say without being able to collect some data from the module to determine the root cause, but it might have had a reboot during the time you said it was non-functional. You said the "phone interface came up" though. What do you mean by that? If there was no phone it would have said "Connecting..." for 10 seconds or so followed by "No Phone Found". Then it would have landed in the Bluetooth Devices menu. Is that what it did?
  4. That is a radio / audio system function, not a Sync function. It might be possible, but probably isn't the right way to implement it.
  5. I guess the quickest way would be to leave the iPod plugged in. If you want to disconnect it when you leave the car then I suggest you: Turn off ignition. Open the door. Unplug the iPod. When returning to the vehicle, plug the iPod in before turning on the ignition. That way it should have saved the state you were in (playing USB) and it will come right back to it.
  6. Yes, it should work if you follow these instructions. OBEX is the object exchange profile for Bluetooth. There should be lots of info available online on that topic if you are interested.
  7. You would need a CAN diagnostic tool (which connects to the OBDII port) to perform the necessary configuration. I suggest having your dealer do this for you.
  8. After a quick conversation with the Bluetooth expert today, apparently the delay is known to happen with some phones. I have never seen it myself, but he would know better about the general phone population. I guess there must be some Bluetooth handshaking going on at that time.
  9. Well, no comment on that one. But you can do BT streaming audio right now right? I know it's pretty lame and not integrated and all, but it sort of works if your phone supports it.
  10. Yes, you did start with v2.0. I'll have to check the rollout schedule. The final build of v3 was completed on June 3, so you should have had v3. I remember distinctly since I didn't sleep that night. It's a complicated process though so I guess it is not too surprizing if it has not completely washed through the system. We are talking about a large number of Sync modules here.
  11. Getting a ringtone from the phone is not supported by all phones so that is not too surprising. Having the phone ring at the same time is a new one to me. You will find that the VR (voice recognition) is degraded by road and wind noise. There is a plan underway to move the microphone off the rearview mirror. The rest of the behavior you described is not normal. Have you tried turning off Automatic Phonebook Download?
  12. Support for this function (transferring a ringtone to Sync) is phone dependent.
