  1. I have an '11 Fiesta and I can use my Zune HD with that system. I think the actual SYNC modules are similar if not the same. I can't listen to Audible.com audiobooks, but music definitely plays. What are you trying to play from the Zune? audiobooks, podcasts, DRM protected music, unprotected music?
  2. On some Sync systems, you can have up to 5 different phones set up. Only one of them can be connected at any time and you can set which one is primary. It should remember the phone books from all the phones you have paired (unless you run out of space). You can delete the currently paired before pairing the new one if you are replacing the old with the new.
  3. Ford CS told me that the iPod Touch and iPhone were the "most compatible" devices with Applink so I bit the bullet and upgraded to an iPhone since I was due for an upgrade anyway. The iPhone does not exhibit the same symptoms on audiobook playback so it's all good now.
  4. I installed the Applink update on my 2011 Fiesta back in December and noticed that I either could not play Audible.com audiobooks at all or, if they do play, they run at 3-4 time the normal speed and it sounds like chipmunks. This worked fine before the update and the dealer has reprogrammed my Sync module AND replaced it and it still exhibits this behavior. My iPod is a 4th gen Nano. Is there a list of iPods that have been tested and are known to work with the Applink update? Anyone else successfully listening to audiobooks on an iPod with Applink on Sync?
  5. Applink is supposed to be available on the Fiesta first and then expanded to other sync vehicles in 2012. My Fiesta owners manual even talks about downloading the update for applink, but it appears it's not available yet. That update is supposed to enable Pandora, OpenBeak and one other app for voice control.
