Reset bluetooth Frenchi

Recommended Posts

Hello evreybody

Sorry to bother you with my post, but I have a problem with my Ford C-max and the bluetooth connection!

I read a lot of post about "factory reset of the SYNC" but couldn't find the procedure!

Can one of you help a poor Frenchi and give me a link?
Thank you in advance
Pierre

I have a FORD FOCUS C-MAX 1.6 TDCI 115 TITANIUM which no longer responds to the telephone
Sorry for this Google translation

Hello
for information, I tried basic reset
But it does not work !

===============

Resetting the SYNC System

You can reset the system to restore functionality that has stopped working. The system reset is designed to restore functionality and not delete any data that you have stored.

  1. Simultaneously press and hold the seek up and the audio unit power buttons until the screen goes black.
  1. Wait three minutes to allow the system to complete the reset.
  1. Press the audio unit power button to switch the system on.

====================

Do you have another idea?

Currently only the radio is working, voice control does not work either

When I ask with the VIN Ford
The Ford website tells me that

2014 Ford C-Max
is already up to date. No action is required.
V 1.4

Have a good day
Pierre

Hello
Thanks Multitask for the answer but I don't have this SYNC 3 version
My version is 1.4!

Do you have another link?

Since my last post, without success,
- I unplugged fuse n ° 67, waited 30 minutes and then put it back!
- Disconnect the battery for 5 h then put it back on!

What no longer works:
The Bluetooth, the voice commands, the auxiliary usb reader, and among the keys only the radio and the card are operational.
Thanks for your feedback

Have a good day
Pierre

How to perform a master reset
  1. Press the PHONE hard button.
  2. Select the 'Settings' tab on the touchscreen.
  3. Select 'Advanced'.
  4. Scroll using the seek buttons on the touchscreen and select 'Master Reset'.
  5. SYNC will ask you to confirm. Press 'YES' to continue.
  6. SYNC will confirm when the master reset is complete.

Hello

Ok, I don't have a "setting" button

I have a menu button

Anyway, when I press the "Phone" or "Aux" button, nothing happens! only the "Radio" "CD" and "Nav" buttons still work

An other idea ?

Have a good day

That is information from the Ford site... talk to your dealer for more info.

Hello

Thanks again Multitask,

But the problem is there!
My dealer tells me that he can do nothing, that he must appeal to the mother house in Paris and that I must advance € 400 without certainty!

This is the reason why despite the language problems I am looking for help on the forums

I will NEVER buy a Ford again in my life!

I don't know what to do anymore! I don't even know where the Sync module is in the car

Have a good day
Pierre

Typically the Reset is in the Settings area... once you can navigate to that area, you should be able to find it.... if it is not allowing you to get there, then something is wrong, and you will have to get the dealer to show you...  while I know where it is in my car, I'm sure the dealer would be most helpful tin directing me to that

If they will not, then take it to another dealer... the owner.fole.com site has a lot of info (or what ever it would be in your area)
