I have a non-Nav 08 Fusion with sync, and I was wondering if its possible to turn off the voice so all it does is ding or beep or whatever it does before i can speak. Mutnat Posted May 12, 2008 Report Share Posted May 12, 2008 I think I had to do both of these to get it to do that: Hit your media button, and in either Phone or User Device mode, tell it "Voice settings" and then "Interaction mode advanced" Next, hit the media button again, and tell it "voice settings", and then "confirmation prompts off" Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That doesn't completely kill the prompts though. (On non-Nav radios at least.) When I press the sync button on the wheel the mode is still announced ("Phone" or "USB"). Bling! :D That reminds me of an old Aero (chocolate bar) commercial - "Enough 'bing'-ing already!" But the double tap works nicely, as long as it's in the mode you want I suppose.
