Wiremaniac 0 Report post Posted November 19, 2022 I am trying to connect to the wifi at my residence which relies on mac address filtering for security purposes. Does anyone know where to find the vehicle's wifi mac address?

Does anyone know where to find the vehicle's wifi mac address? Hi Wiremaniac. I don't have access to my vehicle at the moment, so off memory: Try going into Settings, then look in the "About SYNC" section. Let us know how you make out and good luck. BriBoy 1 Report post Posted November 23, 2022 Hi Wiremaniac. The easiest way around this is to go to your router and turn off MAC filtering, connect the vehicle to wifi, and then check the router's connected devices list. Add the car's MAC address to the allowed devices, and then re-enable MAC address filtering. That is, IF you have control over your router. Good luck! 1 Muzicman61 reacted to this
ShelbyGT350 27 Report post Posted March 8 wiremaniac im going to show you an easy trick I thought of in 2016. I needed to know my mac address too and heres the solution take your cell phone into the ford and start the engine. turn on your cell hotspot under settings. connect your ford wifi to your cell phone, your cell will show the mac addresses of devices using its hotspot tethering.
